Carlos Campos Silva

Carlos Héctor Campos Silva (born February 14, 1937) is a Chilean former footballer.
==Biography==
Carlos Campos was a player for the Universidad de Chile. Campos went by the nickname "The Tank" for his lack of sensation when scoring. He was best known for heading the ball, and famous for keeping his cool when going one-on-one against the goalkeeper.
He scored with the club's signature red "U" on his chest on 183 occasions and 3 times for the Chilean national team, thereby becoming the all-time top goal-scorer for his team, beating Leonel Sanchez. Sanchez boasted 159 goals in comparison.
His achievements include being the player with the most goals scored in the Chilean soccer classics against its many rivals, such as Colo-Colo (16) and Universidad Católica (14). He was part of a historic team known as the Ballet Azul (Blue Ballet), champions six times between 1950 and 1960, who dominated South American football. During this period, he joined forces with teammate Leonel Sanchez, whom he assisted 104 times to score.
